Meet Luna

Grama and Grampa Cook were scheduled to arrive in Rome on Sept. 4, and happened to land one hour before she was born. They arrived at the hospital that afternoon to meet her. What timing!

A glowing new daddy brings Luna out to meet friends that are waiting outside of Labor & Delivery.

Birth

Luna Grace was born on Sept. 4, 2009 in Rome (3 kilos 30 grams, 50 cm long). She was born on the full moon, 3 days before her due date.

Paolo and I hadn't decided on a name for a girl, so we had temporarily decided on Luna while we thought it over - but Luna turned out to be perfect.
